Interview mit der Palästinensischen Kommunistischen Partei

Im Folgenden veröffentlichen wir ein Interview mit der Palästinensischen Kommunistischen Partei über die aktuelle Situation in Palästina, die Perspektiven des Befreiungskampfes und die strategische Orientierung der Partei und ihres kommunistischen Jugendverbandes. Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei ist Teil des Internationalen Treffens Kommunistischer und Arbeiterparteien. Sie steht ein für die Einheit der Arbeiterklasse und Volksmassen in ganz Palästina im Kampf gegen die koloniale Besatzung und für ein sozialistisches Palästina. Wir rufen dazu auf, die Arbeit der palästinensischen Genossinnen und Genossen konkret zu unterstützen im Rahmen der von ihr initiierten Spendenkampagne zur humanitären Hilfe in Gaza zu unterstützen. Im Folgenden veröffentlichen wir eine deutsche Übersetzung des in Englisch geführten Interviews. Die englische Original-Version findet ihr darunter.

KO: Seit Oktober hat Israel seine Politik der Unterdrückung des palästinensischen Volkes massiv verschärft. Vor unseren Augen wird mit deutscher Unterstützung ein Völkermord begangen. Könnt ihr die Situation des palästinensischen Volkes und die Bedingungen beschreiben, unter denen die Partei derzeit ihre Arbeit machen muss?

PCP: Seit 75 Jahren leidet das palästinensisch-arabische Volk unter dem Völkermord und der ethnischen Säuberung, welche die zionistische Entität mit der Staatsgründung Israels im Jahr 1948 begann. Die systematische Unterdrückung, das Töten und die Massaker gingen weiter, aber die Mentalität der zionistischen Besatzer änderte sich, als die Ultrarechten um Netanjahu an die Macht kamen. Der Rassismus durchdringt diese Entität und breitet sich in einer noch nie dagewesenen Weise aus. Aufgrund der uneingeschränkten Unterstützung des amerikanischen und europäischen Imperialismus für die zionistische Entität beim Landraub und der Ermordung von Menschen war der Angriff auf die Stellungen und Siedlungen der israelischen Armee am 7. Oktober eine natürliche Reaktion auf einen Feind, der von Anfang an Massenmord und ethnische Säuberungen betrieben hat.

Die rechtsgerichtete faschistische Regierung nutzte die Ereignisse des 7. Oktober, um ihre rassistischen und faschistischen Ansichten durch den völkermörderischen Krieg, den sie gegen unser Volk im Gazastreifen und in geringerem Maße auch im Westjordanland führt, umzusetzen. Was die zionistische Armee und ihre faschistische Politik antreibt, ist einzig und allein der Instinkt nach Rache und Demütigung unseres Volkes. Es ist möglich, eine Armee oder eine militärische Einheit zu besiegen, aber es ist nicht möglich, ein Volk zu besiegen, egal wie stark diese Besatzung und ihre Unterdrückung des besetzten Volkes auch sein mag. Wir sind fest davon überzeugt, dass unser Volk siegen wird und dass die Verbrecher und Mörder vor internationalen Gerichten zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden.

Die derzeitige Situation des palästinensischen Volkes ist eine der schlimmsten Phasen, die es in seiner langen und bitteren Geschichte durchlaufen hat, und zwar wegen des arabischen und internationalen Verrats und wegen der regionalen und weltweiten Verschwörung zur Liquidierung unserer nationalen Sache. Aber unser Volk wird diese Verschwörung mit seiner legendären und vorausschauenden Standhaftigkeit und Aufopferung vereiteln, wie es jetzt in Gaza und den Städten des Westjordanlandes geschieht. Unsere Partei, die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei, führt einen Kampf auf verschiedenen politischen, intellektuellen und organisatorischen Ebenen, der sich wie folgt zusammenfassen lässt:

• Aufklärung und Verurteilung der faschistischen Besatzungspraktiken gegen unser Volk.
• Unterstützung des wirtschaftlichen, politischen und akademischen Boykotts der zionistischen Entität in verschiedenen Ländern durch Organisationen, die die Rechte unseres Volkes unterstützen und sich gegen die anhaltende Besatzung und ihre Massaker wenden.
• Arbeit in den Massen unseres Volkes, einschließlich der Arbeiter, Bauern und Studenten, um alle Kräfte zu mobilisieren, um dieser Besatzung mit geeigneten Methoden und Mitteln entgegenzutreten.
• Aufrufe um die palästinensische Spaltung zu überwinden und Druck auf die betroffenen Parteien auszuüben, um dieser Sackgasse zu entkommen.
• Bildung einer breiten nationalen Front gegen die Besatzung und ihre Agenten, genaue Definition der Etappenziele und Bestimmung geeigneter Taktiken.

KO: Lasst uns über die verschiedenen Kräfte in der palästinensischen Politik sprechen: Wie schätzt ihr Hamas und Fatah ein und wie bewertet ihr die in Moskau stattfindenden Gespräche zwischen Fatah, Hamas und anderen palästinensischen politischen Organisationen, bei denen sogar von einer möglichen Vereinigung die Rede ist? Wie ist der Rücktritt des Ministerpräsidenten der Palästinensischen Autonomiebehörde zu werten?

PCP: Als palästinensische Kommunisten stützen wir uns bei der Beurteilung jeder politischen Bewegung auf den marxistisch-leninistischen Ansatz. Die Fatah entstand und wurde als eine Bewegung gegründet, die die palästinensische Bourgeoisie vertritt. Sie übernahm die Führung im Kampf gegen die zionistische Besatzung aufgrund der Unterstützung durch arabische Regierungen. Diese versuchten, das Aufkommen eines marxistischen Widerstands zu verhindern, der ihre interne Situation beeinflussen könnte – insbesondere in den arabischen Golfstaaten. Diese Regierungen unterstützten die Fatah in den 1960er, 70er und 80er Jahren, da sie sie als Schutzschild gegen die kommunistische Ideologie am Golf und in der arabischen Region betrachteten. Die Kommunistische Partei trug in dieser Zeit dazu bei, die Führung der Palästinensischen Befreiungsorganisation auf die Sowjetunion und die Länder des sozialistischen Blocks auszurichten, weil die Partei den Feind in der zionistischen Besatzung sah und der Meinung war, dass ein Bündnis mit der palästinensischen Bourgeoisie zur Befreiung Palästinas Vorrang habe. Allerdings übersah unsere Partei damals die Tatsache, dass die Golfstaaten durch ihre umfangreiche Finanzierung die Führung der Fatah und anderer Fraktionen korrumpierten und den Kampf von einem freiwilligen Widerstand zu einem Opportunismus auf Kosten der nationalen Sache machten. Diese Unterstützung führte zur Schaffung eines großen bürokratischen Apparates innerhalb der PLO, dessen Hauptaufgabe in Klientelpolitik und Korruption bestand.

Der Verrat am Sozialismus in der Sowjetunion und Jassir Arafats Bündnis mit der ehemaligen irakischen Regierung während der Besetzung Kuwaits führten dazu, dass die Finanzierung der PLO und insbesondere der Fatah durch die Golfstaaten vollständig eingestellt wurde. Dies belastete die PLO, aufgrund des großen bürokratischen Apparats, den sie aufgebaut hatte, schwer. Die palästinensische Bourgeoisie fühlte sich in die Enge getrieben und griff zur Unterzeichnung der verräterischen Osloer Abkommen, die unser Volk und unsere nationale Sache in die schlimme Situation geführt haben – in der wir uns jetzt befinden. Einige Palästinenser, die einst Freiheitskämpfer waren, sind, unter dem Deckmantel der “Sicherheitskoordination”, zu Kollaborateuren der zionistischen Entität geworden sind.

Unsere Einschätzung der Fatah ist, dass es sich um eine bürgerliche Bewegung handelt, die versucht hat, die nationale Befreiung zu erreichen, sich aber dem globalen Kapitalismus unterworfen und angegliedert hat und als Erfüllungsgehilfe der zionistischen bürgerlichen Interessen im Westjordanland und im Gazastreifen dient.

Die Hamas wurde 1988 während der ersten palästinensischen Intifada gegründet und präsentierte sich als Alternative zur PLO. Israel duldete sie zunächst, um das Ansehen der PLO in der palästinensischen Bevölkerung zu untergraben. Sie scheiterte jedoch an der starken Unterstützung der Bevölkerung für die PLO und an der Einigkeit der palästinensischen Gruppierungen gegen Versuche, den Status der PLO zu untergraben. Doch nach dem Zusammenbruch des Sozialismus in der Sowjetunion, der Umbenennung der Palästinensischen Kommunistischen Partei in Palästinensische Volkspartei im Jahr 1991 und der Unterzeichnung des schwachen Osloer Abkommens, gewann die Hamas breite Unterstützung, aufgrund der von den PLO-Fraktionen hinterlassenen Lücke. Die Unterstützung durch die Golfstaaten stärkte die Hamas finanziell, politisch, kulturell und gesellschaftlich erheblich. Dies ändert jedoch nichts daran, dass die Hamas eine wichtige Rolle im palästinensischen Kampf gegen die zionistische Besatzung spielte und die Vorhut im Kampf gegen die Besatzung bildete.

Unsere Bewertung der Hamas basiert auf ihrem Widerstand gegen die Besatzung, der positiv ist. Ideologisch gesehen bleiben jedoch sowohl Fatah als auch Hamas trotz ihrer unterschiedlichen Taktiken Vertreter der palästinensischen Bourgeoisie.

Wir als Kommunisten sind der Meinung, dass der Dialog, der in Moskau stattfand, von der Fatah-Führung direkt sabotiert wurde, indem sie das Abkommen aufkündigte und eine einfarbige palästinensische Regierung allein aus der Fatah bildete. Die anderen teilnehmenden Parteien und Bewegungen hatten keinen wirklichen Einfluss und ihre Teilnahme war lediglich symbolisch. Wir glauben, dass sich die palästinensische Spaltung aufgrund einer verräterischen Führung in der Palästinensischen Autonomiebehörde noch vertiefen wird, da sie in der amerikanischen Lösung (der sogenannten Zwei-Staaten-Lösung) den einzigen Ausweg aus ihren Problemen sieht und ihrer eigenen Bevölkerung misstraut.

KO: Der brutale israelische Angriff zielt ganz offensichtlich darauf ab, das palästinensische Volk zu demoralisieren. Funktioniert diese Taktik auf? Wie entwickelt sich die Unterstützung der Bevölkerung für die Fortsetzung des Widerstands gegen Besatzung und Völkermord?

PCP: Wir müssen den Grund für die israelische Aggression gegen den Gaza-Streifen aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachten. Die vom palästinensischen Widerstand durchgeführte Operation vom 7. Oktober fand im normalen Kontext der Konfrontation mit der Besatzung und ihren willkürlichen Maßnahmen gegen unser Volk statt, einschließlich der Beschlagnahmung von Land, der Belagerung des Gazastreifens, der Judaisierung Jerusalems, der Ausweitung der Siedlungen im Westjordanland, der Zunahme der Tötungsaktionen und willkürliche Angriffe auf Palästinenser an den zionistischen Kontrollpunkten.

Wir glauben, dass das palästinensische Volk im Gazastreifen den Preis für den Erfolg des palästinensischen Widerstands bei der Operation vom 7. Oktober zahlt, bei der der zionistischen Entität ein schwerer Schlag versetzt wurde, dessen Auswirkungen auf die zionistische Gesellschaft erheblich bleiben werden, und alle Unterdrückung, Tötung und Zerstörung soll verhindern, dass sich so etwas wiederholt. Diese Operationen zeigen uns erneut, dass die Entität tun und lassen kann, was sie will, ohne zur Rechenschaft gezogen zu werden. Wir gehen davon aus, dass die zionistische Aggression zu negativen Ergebnissen führen wird und nicht zu dem, was sie sich wünscht und erhofft. Die zionistische Aggression zielt auch darauf ab, den Willen und die Entschlossenheit des palästinensischen Volkes zu brechen, aber sie hat dabei kläglich versagt. Der beste Beweis dafür ist, dass der Krieg immer noch andauert und die Palästinenser trotz Belagerung, Hunger und systematischer Zerstörung nicht die weiße Flagge gehisst haben.

KO: Westliche Regierungen und Medien bemühen sich, die Hamas mit dem IS gleichzusetzen, mit seinem religiösen Fanatismus und seiner blinden Gewalt, die gegen all jene entfesselt wird, die sie als “Ungläubige” bezeichnen, mit demselben IS, den die USA mit geschaffen und den Israel indirekt unterstützt hat. Wenn wir uns also von der heuchlerischen Rhetorik befreien, die darauf abzielt, den Widerstand zu delegitimieren, bleibt die Frage nach der Rolle der Religion. Wie erklärt und beurteilt ihr als Kommunisten den Rückzug der säkularen und progressiven Kräfte, um nicht zu sagen der Kommunisten, in der Führung des palästinensischen Widerstands?

PCP: Eine der wichtigsten Aktionen der zionistischen und westlichen Propagandamaschinerie war es, das palästinensische Volk zu entmenschlichen und es mit Tieren zu vergleichen. Dies zeigte sich zum Beispiel in der Beschreibung des israelischen Kriegsministers Gallant, der sie als ‘menschliche Tiere’ bezeichnete, sowie in dem Vergleich mit dem IS aufgrund seiner verbrecherischen Rolle gegenüber den Völkern der Region. Ziel war es, die arabische Bevölkerung und die Weltbevölkerung zu beeinflussen und das palästinensische Volk zu dämonisieren, was leider von den westlichen Medien unterstützt wurde. All dies wurde getan, um die Tötung von Palästinensern zu rechtfertigen, nur weil sie Palästinenser sind, was zu Völkermord und ethnischer Säuberung gegen unser Volk in Gaza führte.

Wie bereits erwähnt, hat der Niedergang der säkularen und kommunistischen Kräfte in Palästina mehrere Faktoren, externe und interne. Extern ist er auf den Zusammenbruch des Sozialismus in der Sowjetunion und die Feindseligkeit der Medien der Golfstaaten gegenüber säkularen und modernen Werten zurückzuführen, gepaart mit einer noch nie dagewesenen finanziellen Unterstützung für den politischen Islam. Intern war es ein Schwanken, der die kommunistische Bewegung in Palästina und die Kommunistische Partei dazu brachte, ihren historischen Namen aufzugeben und sich in die Palästinensische Volkspartei umzuwandeln, wobei sie die marxistisch-leninistische Ideologie aufgab und durch ein rückschrittliches Erbe ersetzte. Die Führungen dieser Strukturen kollaborierten mit der Osloer Behörde (gemeint ist die infolge des Osloer Abkommens gegründete Palästinensische Autonomiebehörde, Anm. KO) und verfolgten ihre parteipolitischen Interessen, wobei einige linke Parteien zu ihren veralteten bürgerlichen Ursprüngen zurückkehrten. All dies hinterließ bei den palästinensischen Massen den Eindruck, dass diese Parteien, die einst den Sozialismus verteidigten, ihn aufgegeben hatten. Die palästinensische Arbeiterklasse fühlte sich verraten und wandte sich anderen Parteien zu, die eine klarere Politik verfolgten.

KO: Könnt ihr uns ein wenig über die Geschichte der kommunistischen Bewegung in Palästina erzählen? Wie kam es dazu, dass die Bewegung heute so viel schwächer ist als in der Vergangenheit? Wie ist eure Partei entstanden und welche Rolle versucht sie im Klassenkampf zu spielen?

PCP: Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei wurde nach der sozialistischen Oktoberrevolution in Russland und nach der Entstehung der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung im Jahr 1919 unter der Leitung der Dritten Internationale (Komintern) gegründet.

Im Jahr 1919 entstanden die ersten Keimzellen der kommunistischen Bewegung in Palästina unter dem Namen Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei, die Teil der Internationalen Sozialdemokratischen Bewegung war. Im Jahr 1922 wurde die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei ausgerufen, und es gab eine weitere kommunistische Partei in Palästina, die Kommunistische Partei in Palästina. Diese beiden Parteien wurden am 9. Juli 1923 unter dem Namen Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei vereinigt.

Nach mehrwöchigen Verhandlungen zwischen der Palästinensischen Kommunistischen Partei und dem Exekutivkomitee der Komintern erkannte das Exekutivkomitee der Kommunistischen Internationale im Februar 1924 die PCP als Mitglied der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung an. Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei wurde ein Teil der marxistisch-leninistischen Bewegung, sie wurde zur Vorhut der palästinensischen Arbeiterklasse. Die Partei übernahm die Erziehung und Organisation des palästinensischen Proletariats und der Landarbeiter (Bauern), um sie auf die sozialistische Revolution vorzubereiten und den Marxismus-Leninismus und die Diktatur des Proletariats zu verteidigen, um den Sozialismus und Kommunismus zu erreichen, wobei sie den Revisionismus und Reformismus ablehnte und von der großen Erfahrung des weltweiten kommunistischen Kampfes profitierte, und von den Schriften der Genossen Marx, Engels, Lenin und Stalin.

Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei umfasste Palästinenser, Araber und Juden und sie kämpften zusammen gegen die Briten und die zionistische Expansion in Palästina. Die Einheit der Partei wurde im Jahr 1948 gefährdet, als Banden der zionistischen Organisation begannen, die arabischen Einwohner zu töten und sie aus ihren Städten und Dörfern unter der Anleitung der britischen Soldaten zu vertreiben. Dies geschah, als der UN-Sicherheitsrat beschloss, Palästina in zwei Staaten aufzuteilen, einen für die Araber (Westjordanland) und einen für die Juden, gemäß der UN-Resolution Nr. 181.

Unter diesen Umständen wurde vorgeschlagen, zwei Parteien zu gründen, eine Partei für jedes Gebiet. Als das palästinensische Westjordanland 1950 von Jordanien annektiert wurde, schlossen sich die palästinensischen Kommunisten den jordanischen Kommunisten (Marxistische Zirkel) an und bildeten die Jordanische Kommunistische Partei. Bis zum Krieg im Jahr 1967 und der israelischen Besetzung des Westjordanlandes und Ostjerusalems haben wir als solche weitergearbeitet. Das Land steht immer noch unter israelischer Besatzung. Die palästinensischen Kommunisten nutzten diese Gelegenheit im Jahr 1982 und riefen die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei ins Leben. Diese führte zusammen mit anderen Kräften einen heldenhaften Kampf gegen die israelische Besatzung. Die Kommunistische Partei war eine der wichtigsten Kräfte, die in der palästinensischen Arena kämpften.

Ende 1987 begann der erste Aufstand (Intifada) gegen die israelische Besatzung, bei dem die Kommunistische Partei eine wichtige Rolle bei der Aufklärung und Organisierung der palästinensischen Öffentlichkeit spielte, was dazu führte, dass viele unserer Genossen in den israelischen Gefängnissen inhaftiert wurden. Die Partei war unter den Arbeitern und Bauern aktiv und bot ihnen über die Parteiorganisationen landwirtschaftliche und medizinische Dienste an. In dieser schwierigen und wichtigen Periode haben die revisionistischen Führer unter dem Einfluss des Verräters Chruschtschow und mit der Koordination der Palästinensischen Befreiungsorganisation (Fatah) den Sozialismus und die marxistisch-leninistische Ideologie verworfen, da sie diese für unsere Zeit als nicht geeignet erachteten. Um ihre Vorherrschaft zu sichern, kaufte die Fatah die revisionistische Parteiführung der PCP mit Geld oder politischen Posten. Dadurch entstand ein Vakuum in der palästinensischen Politik.

Um ihre illegitimen Schritte zu legitimieren, versammelten die Revisionisten (die ehemalige kommunistische Führung) ihre Anhänger und erklärten die Abkehr vom Marxismus-Leninismus, vom Klassenkampf und vom proletarischen Internationalismus. Am 29.10.1991 verließen sie die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei und gründeten eine neue Partei unter dem Namen Palästinensische Volkspartei (Palestinian People’s Party = PPP). Diese neue Partei verbündete sich mit Fatah und anderen bürgerlichen palästinensischen Bewegungen. Als Teil der Palästinensischen Autonomiebehörde verlor sie das Vertrauen der Bevölkerung. In diesem kritischen Moment, eine Woche nach dem Rechtsruck der Ausgetretenen, versammelten sich die Kommunisten, die ihrer marxistisch-leninistischen Ideologie im Westjordanland und im Gazastreifen treu geblieben waren, und verkündeten nach einer umfassenden Diskussion am 7.11.1991 die Rückkehr der Palästinensischen Kommunistischen Partei, um unter dem Banner des Marxismus-Leninismus und des proletarischen Internationalismus zu arbeiten. Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei kämpfte gegen die Revisionisten und Reformisten, die den Namen PPP annahmen, sowie gegen die israelische Besatzung.

Im Jahr 2016 hielt die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei ihre zweite Generalkonferenz ab, auf der die politische Linie der Kommunistischen Partei von einer Zweistaatenlösung zu einem einzigen säkularen demokratischen Staat für das gesamte Volk geändert wurde, nachdem klar geworden war, dass der Konflikt mit der zionistischen Besatzung ein unvereinbarer Widerspruch ist und das Wesen des zionistischen Projekts von Natur aus rassistisch und aggressiv ist.

KO: Wenden wir uns nun Israel zu. Die israelische Regierung rechtfertigt den Völkermord, den sie im Gazastreifen verübt, mit dem Ziel, die Hamas zu vernichten. Selbst wenn sie damit Erfolg hätte, wüsste sie natürlich sehr genau, dass andere Widerstandsorganisationen entstehen würden, da die Gründe für den Widerstand mit diesem Krieg nur noch größer geworden sind. Was ist also das wahre Ziel Israels?

PCP: Wir sehen, dass der Bezug auf Hamas ein Versuch ist, Sand in die Augen zu streuen. Das Ziel ist nicht Hamas, sondern das gesamte palästinensische Volk, mit all seinen Kräften und Gruppierungen. Der Widerstand geht so lange weiter, wie die Besatzung andauert – das ist der Lauf der Geschichte. Das eigentliche Ziel Israels ist es jedoch, das palästinensische Volk von seinem Land zu vertreiben, durch tägliche Gewalttaten – die Zerstörung der Infrastruktur, von Krankenhäusern, Straßen, Schulen und allen Formen des Lebens und die Palästinenser werden ausgehungert, um sie zur Auswanderung zu zwingen und die Nakba von 1948 zu wiederholen. Das Ziel des Krieges, die Spaltung des Widerstandes vom Volk und dessen Brechung, konnte nicht erreicht werden, aufgrund der legendären Standhaftigkeit unseres Volkes und dessen Zusammenhalt mit dem Widerstand.

KO: Die israelische Regierung befand sich bereits vor dem Anschlag vom 7. Oktober in einer tiefen Krise, und auch jetzt ist die Unterstützung der israelischen Bevölkerung für Netanjahu nur schwach. Trotz dieser Tatsache und obwohl es nicht an Vorfällen von Unzufriedenheit und Protest mangelt, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit dem Schicksal der Geiseln, unterstützt die große Mehrheit der israelischen Bevölkerung die Kriegsanstrengungen ihrer Regierung und den Völkermord. Leider scheint die rechtsextreme, faschistische Ideologie in der israelischen Gesellschaft dominanter denn je zu sein. Selbst wenn Netanjahu zum Rücktritt gezwungen würde, gäbe es in Israel keine politische Kraft, die seine Politik oder die Aggression in Gaza grundlegend in Frage stellen würde. Glauben Sie angesichts dieser Umstände, dass die Einheit der Klasse, die Unterstützung zumindest eines Teils der israelischen Arbeiterklasse, um den israelischen Siedlerkolonialismus zu beenden, immer noch ein Ziel ist, das Kommunisten verfolgen sollten?

PCP: Das Problem, unter dem die zionistische Gesellschaft leidet, ist, dass der Zionismus auf einer chauvinistischen und rassistischen Interpretation der jüdischen Religion beruht. Die Entwicklung hin zum Faschismus in der zionistischen Entität ist also nicht das Ergebnis eines bestimmten Moments, sondern wird vielmehr durch die Anhäufung jener Interpretationen der Tora gerechtfertigt, nach denen die Juden ein Volk seien, das von Gott auserwählt wurde und von ihm das Land erhalten hat. Die zionistische Gesellschaft wurde von solchen chauvinistischen und faschistischen Ideen durchdrungen, und alle anderen Widersprüche wurden durch die Schaffung eines imaginären Feindes der zionistischen Gesellschaft verdeckt. Außerdem gibt es in der zionistischen Gesellschaft einen Konflikt zwischen den charedischen Juden und den westlichen aschkenasischen Juden, und der Kern dieses Konflikts ist die Frage der reinen jüdischen Identität und der Abgrenzung von der westlichen Kultur, die in der zionistischen Gesellschaft vorherrschend war. Aber all das hindert die palästinensischen Kommunisten nicht daran, an der Klasseneinheit zwischen den Palästinensern und den Israelis zu arbeiten. Es erfordert jedoch sehr viel Zeit und Mühe und setzt eine starke israelische und eine starke palästinensische kommunistische Partei voraus, und das ist nicht der Fall.

KO: Die meisten kommunistischen Parteien in der Welt fordern seit vielen Jahrzehnten die Gründung eines palästinensischen Staates in den Grenzen von 1967 und mit Ost-Jerusalem als Hauptstadt, damit Palästina und Israel als zwei Staaten koexistieren können. Die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei lehnt diese Position als überholt ab und strebt stattdessen einen einheitlichen Staat Palästina an, die so genannte Einstaatenlösung. Könnt ihr diese Position und eure Kritik an der Zweistaatenlösung erläutern?

PCP: Zunächst muss klargestellt werden, dass vor dem Teilungsbeschluss die Nationale Befreiungsliga (englisch: National Liberation League of Palestine) vorgeschlagen wurde, die die Meinung der palästinensischen Kommunisten über einen einzigen Staat, der das palästinensische und das israelische Volk vereint, zum Ausdruck brachte. Dies war jedoch nicht im Interesse des amerikanischen und britischen Imperialismus, der in der Einheit der beiden Völker eine Bedrohung für seine Existenz in der Region sah. Der Nahe Osten leidet unter politischer Instabilität aufgrund der zionistischen Entität, die durch die beispiellose Unterstützung der westlichen Länder aggressiv gegen die Völker und ihren Reichtum vorgeht. Nach dem Teilungsbeschluss haben die palästinensischen Kommunisten erkannt, dass es Verschwörungen gegen unser palästinensisches Volk gibt, an denen die arabischen Reaktionäre beteiligt sind und deren Ziel es ist, das Land zu kontrollieren. Sie sahen, dass man den Vorhang zurückziehen muss. Die Herausforderung der reaktionären Kräfte brachte den Kommunisten Feindschaft seitens der reaktionären arabischen Regierungen ein, und die Situation endete damit, dass die zionistische Entität 78 % des palästinensischen Landes kontrollierte und das jordanische Regime 22 % des restlichen Landes, und der Gazastreifen Ägypten unterstellt wurde. Davor hatten die Kommunisten gewarnt, und unter diesem Gesichtspunkt stimmte die Kommunistische Partei dem Teilungsbeschluss zu. Nach der zionistischen Besetzung des Westjordanlandes und der Veränderung des Kräfteverhältnisses zugunsten des Imperialismus in der Welt änderte die Partei ihre Position auf der Grundlage der folgenden Analyse:

Die Kommunisten in Palästina waren sich des Charakters der Besatzung bewusst und schlugen eine Lösung für die palästinensische Frage mit einem einzigen demokratischen Staat für alle seine Bewohner vor. Die zionistische Bewegung, die Palästina besetzte, war ein Ausdruck der Bewegung des zionistischen Kapitals, das mit dem globalen Imperialismus verbündet ist. Das Ergebnis dieses kapitalistischen Bündnisses war die Errichtung einer politischen Einheit für den Zionismus auf Kosten des palästinensischen Volkes in Palästina, das die Rolle eines Polizisten in der Region des Nahen Ostens spielt, um die Interessen des Imperialismus zu schützen und die Ausplünderung der Völker der Region durch selbigen fortzusetzen. Diese usurpierende Entität verfolgt mit Hilfe der Armee und militärischer Gewalt immer noch die Politik der Zwangsumsiedlung unseres palästinensischen Volkes und der ethnischen Säuberung durch Massaker, die seit mehr als einem Jahrhundert andauern. Die zionistische Bewegung hat und wird in ihrer existenziellen Überlebensstrategie für kein anderes Element als die zionistischen Juden in Palästina einen Hoffnungsschimmer haben. Der Kampf mit dieser Bewegung ist ein Kampf um Land und Existenz, und die von ihren behaupteten friedlichen Lösungen sind nichts anderes als Täuschung, Betrug und Zeitgewinn, um ihre Politik der Kontrolle über das Land und die vollständige Vertreibung des verbliebenen palästinensischen Volkes aus seiner Heimat umzusetzen. Die zionistische Bewegung, die sich die religiösen Gefühle und die jüdische Geschichte in Europa zunutze machte, verfolgte alle Methoden und Täuschungen, um die größtmögliche Anzahl von Juden in der Welt, die keine historische Verbindung zu Palästina haben, auf Kosten des palästinensischen Volkes nach Palästina zu bringen. Die zionistische Bewegung stützte sich auf die falsche Aussage von Balfour, dass Palästina ein „Land ohne Volk“ für ein „Volk ohne Land“ sei. Die meisten Juden wurden nur als Schachfiguren in den Händen der zionistischen Bewegung und ihrer funktionalen Rolle in der Region, sowie als Sklaven im Dienste des zionistischen imperialistischen Kapitals, nach Palästina gebracht. Die zionistische Bewegung hat sich bei der Umsetzung ihrer Kolonialpolitik in der Region in ein Monster mit den scharfen Zähnen des globalen Kapitals verwandelt. Sie misst dem Menschen keine Bedeutung bei, unabhängig von seinem Glauben. Ihr erstes Verständnis ist es, diesen Menschen zu einem Diener in den Händen des imperialistischen Monsters zu machen.

Im Folgenden werden einige Punkte der Zweistaatenlösung erläutert.

• Die wirtschaftliche Abhängigkeit dieses angeblichen Staates. Eine der Bedingungen für diese Lösung ist die Abhängigkeit von Israel und den verfügbaren ausländischen Zuschüssen, die direkt an den Frieden mit Israel gebunden sind, wodurch jede Art von wirtschaftlicher Souveränität des palästinensischen Staates untergraben wird.
• Unsere Partei ist der Meinung, dass es unmöglich ist, einen Staat zu akzeptieren, dessen Grenzen durch Kriege gezogen wurden und in dem der Imperialismus seine militärische Macht für den Aufbau einer Basis in der Region eingesetzt hat.
• Diese Lösung hängt nicht nur von der wirtschaftlichen Abhängigkeit von der Besatzung ab, sondern auch von der militärischen Gefährdung und der Unfähigkeit des palästinensischen Staates, seine Grenzen angesichts jeglicher Aggression gegen sein Land aufrechtzuerhalten, insbesondere in Anbetracht des Aufstiegs der extremen Rechten in Israel.
• Die Annahme der Lösung bedeutet, dass das Recht auf Rückkehr für die palästinensischen Flüchtlinge, die bei früheren Angriffen auf die Palästinenser aus ihrem Land vertrieben wurden, vollständig aufgegeben wird.
• Diese Lösung festigt die Idee des Apartheidsystems und gibt der Hälfte der Bevölkerung, die sich derzeit in den Grenzen des historischen Palästina befindet, nur 20 % des Landes, zusätzlich zu den palästinensischen Flüchtlingen, deren Zahl acht Millionen überschritten hat. Sie ist die einzige Garantie für das Überleben des Apartheidsystems, und die Unabhängigkeit des palästinensischen Staates wird nicht mehr als eine Skizze sein.

Weil die Kommunisten erkennen, dass der Konflikt um das Land Palästina ein existenzieller Konflikt ist, sind sie keine Träumer in ihrer Forderung, einen demokratischen Staat in Palästina für alle seine Menschen zu errichten. Sie sind sich vielmehr bewusst, dass sie einen Befreiungskrieg für das Land Palästina führen und erklären, dass die Juden keine Feinde des palästinensischen Volkes sind, weil sie Jude sind, und dass die Befreiung Palästinas praktisch die Befreiung der Juden aus dem Griff und der Kontrolle der zionistischen Bewegung und ihrer bösartigen Ziele ist. Die Kommunisten in Palästina erkennen, dass die Erreichung des Staates Palästina für alle seine Menschen nicht durch friedliche Aufrufe erreicht werden kann und wird, weil der Zionismus, der sich in seiner Politik gegen das palästinensische Volk in einen neuen Faschismus verwandelt hat, um seine Ziele zu erreichen, Palästina von seinen Kindern zu entleeren (im Namen des Friedens von Oslo). Der Landraub zugunsten der Usurpatoren hat sich verdoppelt, die Ausdehnung und Bebauung der besetzten Gebiete hat zugenommen, und die Zahl der illegalen Siedler im Westjordanland ist um etwa 8000 gestiegen. Alle Maßnahmen der zionistischen Bewegung im Rahmen des so genannten Friedensprozesses zielen darauf ab, eine palästinensische Partei zu schaffen, die als Hüterin der zionistischen Sicherheit und Politik in Palästina fungiert, sodass die Besatzung weniger kostspielig wird. Aus diesem Verständnis heraus sehen die Kommunisten, dass die Zweistaatenlösung zeitlich und räumlich überholt ist und dass ein einziger säkularer demokratischer Staat die progressive Lösung ist. Allerdings kann dies nicht durch den Wunsch allein erreicht werden. Die zionistische Bewegung, der Faschismus der neuen Zeit, verschärft seine Unterdrückung des palästinensischen Volkes und wird die Verwirklichung dieses Ziels verhindern. Sie erkennt, dass die Juden, wenn sie vom Zionismus befreit sind, keine Handlanger der globalen imperialistischen Politik sein werden.

Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, müssen die Kommunisten im besetzten Palästina alle Formen des Kampfes anwenden, an erster Stelle die revolutionäre Gewalt als Mittel zur Konfrontation mit der zionistischen Bewegung, die nicht gezögert hat und nicht zögern wird, terroristische Gewalt anzuwenden, um sich der Verwirklichung des Ziels eines einzigen säkularen demokratischen Staates zu widersetzen. Deshalb sind die Kommunisten, die ihr ganzes Leben dem Menschen, seiner Würde und seiner Freiheit gewidmet haben, gezwungen zu diesem Mittel zu greifen. Ihre revolutionäre Gewalt richtet sich gegen eine unterdrückende Minderheit zugunsten einer unterdrückten Mehrheit, deren Rechte verwirkt bleiben. Es ist eine erzwungene Gewalt zugunsten des Menschen, unabhängig von seinem Glauben. Revolutionäre Gewalt und alle Methoden des Kampfes sind zwar ein Mittel, um das Recht der Palästinenser auf ihr Land wiederherzustellen und sie in ihr Heimatland zurückzubringen, aber sie sind gleichzeitig die Befreiung der Juden, die vom Zionismus ausgebeutet werden. Der Zionismus im Dienste des globalen Imperialismus und des mit ihm verbündeten Kapitals.

KO: Nun zu der Frage, wie eine Lösung der palästinensischen Frage erreicht werden kann: Was sind die größten Schwächen des israelischen Staates jetzt und in Zukunft und wie wirken sie sich auf die Kriegsanstrengungen aus? Wie könnte eurer Meinung nach der Zionismus besiegt werden, so dass der Weg zu einem gerechten Frieden und zur nationalen Befreiung des palästinensischen Volkes frei wird?

PCP: Die größte Schwäche des zionistischen Staates ist seine völlige Abhängigkeit vom amerikanischen und europäischen Imperialismus. Der Staat der (zionistischen) Entität kann ohne diese unbegrenzte Unterstützung nicht ein einziges Jahr überleben. Eine weitere Schwäche ist der Mangel an Homogenität in der zionistischen Gesellschaft, obwohl die Entität seit mehr als 75 Jahren besteht und der Konflikt zwischen den charedischen und aschkenasischen Teilen am intensivsten ist, und der Konflikt zwischen ihnen wurde durch die Änderung des Rechtssystems zugunsten des charedischen Teils aufgrund seiner größeren Macht und seines Einflusses in der Gesellschaft deutlich. Außerdem setzt sich die zionistische Gesellschaft aus verschiedenen Nationalitäten zusammen, wie z. B. den Russen, die Anfang der 1990er Jahre eingewandert sind. Sie haben sich zu einer wichtigen Kraft im Land und im Parlament entwickelt, so dass die Sprache Russisch nach Hebräisch und Arabisch zur dritten Amtssprache wurde, zusätzlich zu den äthiopischen Falascha-Juden, die die Zionisten aufgrund ihrer Hautfarbe als Bürger vierter Klasse behandeln. Eine weitere Schwäche ist, dass diese Entität keine größeren militärischen Verluste verkraften kann, da dies zu seinem Zusammenbruch führen würde, wenn auch erst nach einiger Zeit, wie Ben Gurion, der Gründer des zionistischen Staates, sagte. Wenn die Entität eine Niederlage erleidet, wird es von hier verschwinden. Wir beobachten diese zionistischen Massaker an unserem Volk im Gazastreifen.

Das zionistische Projekt kann durch den Ansatz des Widerstands in all seinen Formen durch unser Volk besiegt werden, und die revolutionären Kräfte müssen daran arbeiten, einen Boykott dieser Entität zu unterstützen und eine Situation zu schaffen, um ihm die Unterstützung zu entziehen, bis es ein für alle Mal zusammenbricht, so wie das Apartheid-Regime in Südafrika zusammengebrochen ist.

KO: Durch die internationale kommunistische Bewegung verläuft eine Spaltung, die sich in den letzten zwei Jahren mit der Eskalation des Krieges in der Ukraine vertieft hat. Diese Spaltung betrifft vor allem die Analyse des Imperialismus, die Rolle Russlands und Chinas darin und drückt sich in gegensätzlichen Bewertungen des Krieges in der Ukraine aus. Welche Position vertritt die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei in diesen Fragen?

PCP: Die internationale kommunistische Bewegung war vor dem Krieg gegen die Ukraine gespalten. Sie war in zwei Strömungen gespalten, eine reformistische und revisionistische Strömung und eine revolutionäre Strömung. Der Konflikt zwischen diesen beiden Strömungen stand bei den regelmäßigen Treffen und Versammlungen der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung im Vordergrund. Dieser Streit eskalierte und verschärfte sich mit dem russisch-atlantischen Krieg in der Ukraine, und die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei sieht die Dinge wie folgt: Der Hauptgrund für das, was in der Welt insgesamt und nicht nur in der Ukraine geschieht, ist der Putsch gegen den Sozialismus in der Sowjetunion und die Kontrolle der reaktionären und bürgerlichen Kräfte über Russland, die Ukraine sowie die übrigen Länder des ehemaligen Warschauer Vertrags. Der Konflikt in der Ukraine wütet wegen der Forderung der russischen Bourgeoisie nach einem Platz an der Sonne, insbesondere nachdem Russland mit Nachdruck auf die Weltbühne zurückgekehrt war und die Neuaufteilung der Welt mit dem US-Imperialismus forderte, der seine Kontrolle und seinen Anteil an den Märkten nicht aufgab. Dies führte zum aktuellen Konflikt in der Ukraine, der Ausdruck der Interessen der aufstrebenden russischen Bourgeoisie und ihres Kampfes mit dem amerikanischen Imperialismus ist. Es ist wahr, dass es in der Ukraine das Volk des Donbass gibt. Unsere Partei war für das Recht auf Unabhängigkeit dieses Volkes, dessen Verantwortung im Widerstand gegen den Nazismus lag, so wie die Verantwortung der dortigen Kommunisten. Aber seit der russischen Intervention in der Ukraine wurden viele der kommunistischen Führer des Donbass auf mysteriöse und verdächtige Weise getötet. Dies zeigt die Feindseligkeit der russischen Behörden gegenüber dem Kommunismus und seinen Symbolen. Sie verwenden nur einige Slogans des Großen Vaterländischen Krieges, um die russische Arbeiterklasse zu blenden und in die Irre zu führen. Daher sieht die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei dies als einen Kampf zwischen der Bourgeoisie der unterschiedlichen Länder, deren Ziel es ist, den Reichtum zu kontrollieren und Einflussgebiete aufzuteilen. Wir sehen die Russische Föderation nicht als Gegenpol zur NATO, sondern als Konkurrentin zu ihr. Wir brauchen in der Welt einen sozialistischen Pol, nicht einen kapitalistischen. Was China betrifft, so kann es keinen Kompromiss zwischen Sozialismus und Kapitalismus geben. Es ist nicht möglich, beides zu kombinieren und alles, was über den sozialistischen Markt gesagt wird, ist völliger Unsinn und nicht verlässlich. Deshalb wird China auch nicht als globaler Gegenpol zur NATO gesehen, sondern eher als starker Konkurrent zu ihr.

KO: Unserer Meinung nach ist es legitim, dass der palästinensische Widerstand auch die Unterstützung durch kapitalistische Mächte nutzt – die dies natürlich im Namen ihrer eigenen Interessen tun – und also die Gegensätze und den Wettbewerb zwischen den verschiedenen Mächten ausnutzt. Das bedeutet aber natürlich nicht, dass Kommunisten einen stärkeren Wettbewerb zwischen den imperialistischen Mächten wünschen oder gar anstreben sollten, wie es die Befürworter der „multipolaren Welt“ theoretisieren, die letztlich nur eine Welt der verheerenden Kriege bedeutet. Was ist eure Position in dieser Frage?

PCP: Die multipolare Welt ist reiner Unsinn. Der alte Kolonialismus zum Beispiel war ein Konflikt zwischen Frankreich und Großbritannien. Wird dies als multipolare Welt betrachtet? Wir können die vom kapitalistischen System kontrollierte Welt nicht als multipolare Welt betrachten, und der ständige Konflikt geht um Märkte, Reichtum und Einfluss. Wie Marx sagte, ist der wichtigste Ausdruck der Krise des kapitalistischen Systems der Krieg, und das ist es, was wir gegenwärtig sehen und erleben. Es ist aber für die Kommunisten möglich, den andauernden Konflikt zwischen diesen Kräften auszunutzen, um das kapitalistische System an seinen schwächsten Gliedern zu treffen und das sozialistische System aufzubauen, wie es unser Genosse und Lehrer Lenin im zaristischen Russland während des Ersten Weltkriegs aufzeigte.

KO: Wir sind der Meinung, dass die internationale kommunistische Bewegung auf eine einheitliche revolutionäre Strategie gegen den Imperialismus hinarbeiten sollte, dass die Zusammenarbeit und der Austausch zwischen kommunistischen Parteien gestärkt werden sollte, dass eine Diskussion über ideologische Differenzen stattfinden muss und dass schließlich Schritte in Richtung einer neuen Kommunistischen Internationale unternommen werden sollten. Was ist eure Position dazu?

PCP: Wir sind mit diesem Vorschlag völlig einverstanden. Unsere Partei, die Palästinensische Kommunistische Partei, hat 2008 einen Vorschlag zur Bildung einer neuen Internationale vorgelegt, der dann 2012 wiederholt wurde, aber leider teilen die meisten Parteien diese Meinung nicht, und waren der Meinung, dass die internationale kommunistische Bewegung nicht gespalten werden sollte. Wir sehen aber, dass wir angesichts der unterschiedlichen Positionen zum Krieg in der Ukraine auf dem Weg der Spaltung der internationalen kommunistischen Bewegung sind. Es ist dieselbe Art Spaltung wie sie 1912, vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg, vor der Gründung der Dritten Internationale zwischen Lenin und den überholten opportunistischen Parteien der Zweiten Internationale, stattfand.

KO: Der deutsche imperialistische Staat gehört zu den wichtigsten Unterstützern des israelischen Völkermords, er unterdrückt gewaltsam jede Form von Widerspruch und hat in den letzten Monaten den antipalästinensischen Rassismus und die Gewalt rücksichtslos eskalieren lassen. Selbst einige so genannte Linke unterlassen es, den palästinensischen Kampf zu unterstützen, wobei einige angeblich „linke“ Kräfte sogar rechtsextreme Positionen zur Unterstützung Israels einnehmen. All dies wird mit dem Vorwand des Kampfes gegen den Antisemitismus gerechtfertigt. Was entgegnet ihr als palästinensische Kommunisten darauf? Was sollten eurer Meinung nach Kommunisten, fortschrittliche oder friedliebende Menschen in unserem Land tun, um ihre Solidarität mit dem palästinensischen Volk auszudrücken?

PCP: Genossinnen und Genossen, was Opportunisten und Revisionisten immer entlarvt, sind ihre Positionen bei großen Ereignissen, wie bei den Parteien der Zweiten Internationale während des Ersten Weltkriegs und bei den sozialdemokratischen Parteien, die sich mit Rechten und Nazis verbündeten, um die kommunistische Bewegung zu attackieren. Der Krieg in Gaza hat die gesamte westliche Welt entlarvt und blamiert, die Falschheit ihrer Behauptungen aufgedeckt, die Erklärungen von Freiheit, Recht und so weiter. Wir als Kommunisten sehen, dass das Ziel der Dämonisierung der Palästinenser darin besteht, die an ihnen begangenen Verbrechen zu rechtfertigen, wie z.B. sie als menschliche Tiere zu bezeichnen. Auch die Unterstützung des deutschen Imperialismus für die zionistische Entität zeigt das Ausmaß der organischen Verbindung zwischen dem globalen Imperialismus und der Entität, und dass diese Entität die Interessen des Imperialismus ausdrückt. Was von den wirklichen kommunistischen Kräften in der Region verlangt wird, ist die klare Losung, die Aggression zu stoppen und das Recht des palästinensischen Volkes zu unterstützen, Widerstand zu leisten und seinen freien und unabhängigen Staat zu errichten, ohne Zweideutigkeit oder Angst. Da die Parteien, die unter diesen Umständen feige sind, nicht in der Lage sind, in der Zukunft schicksalhafte Entscheidungen im Interesse ihres Volkes zu treffen, und dies dem Geist des Marxismus und des Kommunismus widerspricht, muss der Revisionismus bekämpft werden, indem seine Falschheit und sein Verrat am marxistischen Gedankengut entlarvt werden. Das ist es, was wir von Lenin, Rosa Luxemburg und Karl Liebknecht gelernt haben.

KO: Since October, Israel has massively escalated its policy of oppressing the Palestinian people. Genocide is being committed before our eyes with Germany’s support. Can you describe the situation of the Palestinian people and the conditions under which the party currently has to do its work?

PCP: For 75 years, the Palestinian Arab people have been suffering from genocide and ethnic cleansing, which the Zionist entity began since the establishment Israel in 1948. The systematic oppression, killing and massacres continued, but a shift occurred in the mentality of the Zionist occupier after the extreme right around Netanjahu came to power in the Zionist entity. Racism permeates this entity and is spreading in an unprecedented manner. Because of the unlimited support of American and European imperialism for the Zionist entity in stealing lands and killing people, the October 7 attack on the Israeli army’s positions and settlements was a natural response to an enemy that has been practicing mass murder and ethnic cleansing since its inception.

The right-wing fascist government took advantage of what happened on October 7 to implement its racist and fascist outlook through the genocidal war it is waging against our people in Gaza and to a lesser extent in the West Bank. What drives the Zionist army and its fascist policies is only the instinct for revenge and humiliation against our people. But this entity, which does not learn from history, does not realize that nations cannot be defeated; It is possible to defeat an army or a military entity, but it is not possible to defeat a people, no matter how strong this occupation is and its oppression of the occupied people. We are fully confident that our people will prevail, and that the criminals and murderers will be brought to justice before international courts.

The current situation of the Palestinian people is one of the worst stages it has gone through in its long and bitter history because of Arab and international betrayal and because of the near and distant conspiracy to liquidate our national cause. But our people will thwart this conspiracy with their legendary and dreamy steadfastness and sacrifices, as is happening now in Gaza and the cities of the West Bank. Our party, the Palestinian Communist Party, is waging a struggle at various political, intellectual and organizational levels, which can be summarized as follows:

• Exposing and condemning the fascist occupation practices against our people.
• Supporting the economic, political and academic boycott of the Zionist entity in various countries through organizations supporting the rights of our people and opposing the continued occupation and its massacres.
• Work among the masses of our people, including workers, farmers and students, to mobilize all energies to confront this occupation with appropriate methods and means.
• Trying to heal the Palestinian rift by calling for an end to the division and putting pressure on the parties concerned to get out of this impasse.
• Forming a broad national front opposed to the occupation and its agents, precisely defining the objectives of the stage and determining the appropriate means of struggle.

KO: Let us talk about the different forces involved in Palestinian politics: What is your assessment of Hamas and Fatah and how do you evaluate the talks being held in Moscow between Fatah, Hamas and other Palestinian political organizations, in which there is even talk of their possible unification? How should the resignation of the premier of the Palestinian Authority be interpreted?

PCP: As Palestinian Communists, our assessment of every political movement stems from the Marxist-Leninist approach. Fatah emerged and was founded as a movement representing the Palestinian bourgeoisie. It took the lead in the struggle against Zionist occupation due to support from Arab regimes, which sought to prevent the emergence of any Marxist resistance that could affect their internal situations, especially in the Gulf Arab countries. These regimes supported Fatah in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, seeing it as a shield against communist ideology in the Gulf and the Arab region. The Communist Party in that period did contribute to orienting the leadership of the Palestinian Liberation Organization toward the Soviet Union and socialist bloc countries because the Party identified the enemy as Zionist occupation and believed that alliance with the Palestinian bourgeoisie for the liberation of Palestine took precedence. However, our Party at that time overlooked the fact that Gulf countries, through their substantial funding, worked to corrupt the leadership of Fatah and other factions, turning the struggle from voluntary resistance to opportunism at the expense of the national cause. This support led to the creation of a large bureaucratic apparatus within the PLO whose main task was patronage and corruption.

The betrayal of socialism in the Soviet Union and Yasser Arafat’s alignment with the former Iraqi regime during its occupation of Kuwait led to a complete cessation of funding from Gulf countries for the PLO and specifically Fatah. This burdened the PLO heavily due to the large bureaucratic apparatus it had created. The Palestinian bourgeoisie felt trapped and resorted to signing the treacherous Oslo Accords, which led our people and our national cause to the dire situation we are in now, where some Palestinians who were once freedom fighters have become collaborators with the Zionist entity under the guise of “security coordination.”

Our assessment of Fatah is that it is a bourgeois movement that attempted to achieve national liberation but found itself subservient and attached to global capitalism, serving as an agent for Zionist bourgeois interests in the West Bank and Gaza.

As for Hamas, it was founded in 1988 during the first Palestinian Intifada, presenting itself as an alternative to the PLO. Israel initially tolerated it to undermine the PLO’s standing among our Palestinian people. However, it failed due to the strong popular support for the PLO and the unity of Palestinian factions against attempts to undermine the PLO’s status. But after significant global changes following the collapse of socialism in the Soviet Union, the renaming of the Palestinian Communist Party to the Palestinian People’s Party in 1991, and the signing of the weak Oslo Accords, Hamas gained widespread support to fill the void left by the PLO’s factions. Gulf support significantly strengthened Hamas financially, politically, culturally, and socially. However, it doesn’t negate that Hamas played a significant role in the Palestinian struggle against Zionist occupation and formed the vanguard in confronting the occupation.

Our evaluation of Hamas is based on its resistance to occupation, which is positive. However, ideologically, both Fatah and Hamas remain representatives of the Palestinian bourgeoisie despite their differences in tactics.

We, as Communists, believe that the dialogue that took place in Moscow was directly sabotaged by the Fatah leadership by reneging on the agreement and forming a one-color Palestinian government from Fatah alone. Other parties and movements participating had no real influence, and their participation was merely symbolic. We believe that the Palestinian division will deepen due to the presence of a treacherous leadership in the Palestinian Authority that sees the American solution (so called Two-State-solution) as the only way out of its problems and distrusts its own people.

KO: The brutal Israeli attack is evidently aimed at demoralizing the Palestinian people. Is this tactic working? How is popular support for the continuation of resistance against occupation and genocide developing?

PCP: We must read the reason for the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip from another angle. The October 7 operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance came within the normal context of confronting the occupation and its arbitrary measures against our people, including the confiscation of land, the siege of the Gaza Strip, the Judaization of Jerusalem, the expansion of settlement in the West Bank, and the increase in killing operations. Indiscriminate attacks on the Palestinians at the Zionist checkpoints. We believe that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are paying the price for the success of the Palestinian resistance in the October 7th operation, where a heavy blow was directed in depth to the Zionist entity, the effects of what will remain significant on the Zionist society, and all oppression, killing and destruction is to prevent the recurrence of such things. These operations again tell us that the entity can do whatever it wants and kill as it wants without being held accountable. We believe that the Zionist aggression will produce adverse results and not as it desires. The Zionist aggression also aims to break the will and resolve of the Palestinian people, but it failed miserably in doing so. The greatest evidence of this is that the war is still continuing and the Palestinians have not raised the white flag despite the siege, starvation and systematic destruction.

KO: Western governments and media try hard to equate Hamas with IS, with its religious fanaticism and blind violence unleashed against all those they called “infidels.” The same IS that the U.S. helped create and that Israel indirectly supported. Freeing ourselves then from the hypocritical rhetoric aimed at delegitimizing the resistance, the question about the role of religion remains. As communists, how do you assess and explain the retreat of secular and progressive forces, not to say communists, in the leadership of the Palestinian resistance?

PCP: One of the most significant actions carried out by Zionist and Western propaganda machinery was dehumanizing the Palestinian people, likening them to animals. This was evident in the description by Israeli Minister of War Galant, who referred to them as ‘human animals,’ as well as in the comparison to ISIS due to its criminal role against the region’s peoples. The goal was to influence Arab and global populations, unfortunately aided by Western media, in demonizing the Palestinian people. All of this was done to justify the killing of Palestinians solely because they are Palestinian, leading to acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our people in Gaza.

As previously mentioned, the decline of secular and communist forces in Palestine has several factors, primarily external and internal. Externally, it was due to the collapse of socialism in the Soviet Union and the Gulf media’s hostility towards secular and modern values, coupled with unprecedented financial support for political Islam. Internally, it was the apostasy that struck the communist movement in Palestine, leading the Communist Party to abandon its historical name and transform into the Palestinian People’s Party, relinquishing Marxist-Leninist ideology and replacing it with a regressive global heritage. The leadership of these parties slipped into collaboration with the Oslo Authority, pursuing their factional interests, with some leftist parties reverting to their antiquated bourgeois origins. All of this left the Palestinian masses with the impression that these factions, once defenders of socialism, had abandoned it. The Palestinian working class felt betrayed and turned to other parties that were clearer in their policies.

KO: Can you tell us a bit about the history of the communist movement in Palestine? How did the movement come to be so much weaker today than in the past? How did your party come about and what role is it trying to play in the class struggle?

PCP: The Palestinian Communist Party was found after the Socialist October Revolution in Russia and after the emergence of the International Communist Movement in 1919 under the direction of the Third International (Comintern).

In the year 1919 the first nuclei of the Communist Movement in Palestine have emerged under the name of Socialist Labour Party which was a part of the International Social Democratic Movement. In 1922, the Palestinian Communist Party was declared, and there was another Communist Party in Palestine called the Communist Party in Palestine. These two parties were united on July 9th, 1923, under the name of Palestinian Communist Party.

A negotiation between the Palestinian Communist Party and the executive committee of the Communist International extended many weeks after which, and in February 1924, the executive committee of the Comintern recognized the PCP as a member of the International Communist Movement. The Palestinian Communist Party became a part of the Marxist-Leninist Movement, it became the vanguard of the Palestinian working class. The party took on his shoulder educating and organizing of the Palestinian proletariat and land workers (the peasants), preparing them to the Socialist Revolution and defending Marxism-Leninism and proletarian dictatorship to achieve socialism and communism, rejecting revisionism and reformism benefited from the great experience of world communist struggle depending in the world learning from the experiences of comrades Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and their revolutionary writing.

The Palestinian Communist Party embraces all Palestinians, Arabs and Jews and they were struggling against the British and the Zionist expansion in Palestine. The Party unity was jeopardized in the year 1948 when gangs of Zionist organizations started killing the Arab inhabitants and evacuating them from their towns and villages under the training and direction of the British soldiers. This occurs when the Security Council decided to divide Palestine into two States, one for Arabs (West Bank) and another for the Jews according to U.N. Resolution No. 181.

Under these circumstances, it was suggested to form two parties, one party for each division. When the Palestinian West Bank annexed from Jordan in the year 1950, the Palestinian communists join the Jordan communists (Marxist circles) and form the Jordanian Communist Party. We continue to operate as such until the year 1967 war, and the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The country is still under the Israeli occupation. The Palestinian communists take this opportunity in the year 1982 and announce the Palestinian Communist Party, who put along with other nationalist forces a heroic fight against Israeli occupation. The Communist Party was one of the main forces struggling in the Palestinian Arena.

At the end of the year 1987, the first uprising (Intifada) against the Israeli occupation started in which the Communist Party played an important role in educating and organizing the Palestinian Public which resulted in the imprisonment of many of our comrades in the Israeli jails. The Party was active among labor and peasants offering them agricultural and medical services through the party organizations. During this difficult and important period, the revisionist leaders, and under the influence of the traitor Khrushchev and with the coordination of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (Fatah) denounced socialism and the Marxist-Leninist ideology considering it not suitable to our time, these renegade leadership called upon all party cadres to surpass these thoughts since it is outdated. In order to guarantee the domination, Fatah bought the revisionist party leadership with money or political posts. This created a vacuum in the Palestinian political arena.

To legalise her illegitimate steps, the revisionists (former Communist Leadership) gathered their supporters and declared the abandonment of Marxism Leninism, class struggle and proletarian internationalism, and in 29/10/1991 they left the Palestinian Communist Party and formed a new party under the name of the Palestinian People’s Party (PPP). This new party ally itself with Fatah, and other bourgeois Palestinian Movements. It lost the people’s trust as a part of the Palestinian Authority. At this critical moment, after one week from renegades shift to the right, the Communists who stayed true to their marxist-leninist ideology in the West Bank and Gaza gathered themselves and after a lengthy discussion announced in 7/11/1991 the return of the Palestinian Communist Party to operate under the banner of Marxism Leninism and proletarian internationalism. The Palestinian Communist Party struggled against the revisionists and reformists which took the name PPP in addition to the Israeli occupation.

In the year 2016, the Palestinian Communist Party held its second general conference, during which the Communist Party’s policy was changed from a two-state solution to a single secular democratic state for all its people, after it became clear that the conflict with the Zionist occupation is a contradictory conflict, not an oppositional one, and thus the nature of the Zionist project is inherently racist and aggressive, and therefore the party’s policy was changed towards a one-state solution.

KO: Let us turn now to Israel. The Israeli government justifies the genocide it is carrying out in the Gaza Strip with the aim of destroying Hamas. Of course, even if they succeeded, they know very well that other resistance organizations would arise, since the reasons to resist have only increased with this war. What then is Israel’s real goal?

PCP: We see that invoking Hamas is an attempt to throw ashes in the eyes. The target is not the Hamas movement, but rather the entire Palestinian people, with all their forces, masses, clans, and factions. The resistance continues as long as the occupation continues, and this is the course of history. However, the real Israeli goal is to displace the Palestinian people from their land, through: Committing daily metaphors, destroying the infrastructure of hospitals, streets, schools, and all forms of life, and starving the Palestinian, all in order to push the Palestinian to emigrate and repeat the Nakba of Palestine in 1948, but the legendary steadfastness of our people is what thwarted the real goal of the war and their cohesion with the Palestinian resistance and not abandoning it.

KO: The Israeli government was in deep crisis before the October 7 attack, and even now support from the Israeli population for Netanyahu remains fragile. Despite this, and despite no shortage of incidents of discontent and protest, especially related to the fate of hostages, the vast majority of the Israeli population supports their government’s war effort and the genocide. Unfortunately, far right, fascist ideology seems to be more dominant in Israeli society than ever before – thus, even if Netanyahu was forced to resign, there is no political force in Israel that would question the substance of his policies or the aggression in Gaza. Given those circumstances, do you think that class unity, to get the support of at least part of the Israeli working class in order to end Israeli settler colonialism, is still a goal that communists should pursue?

PCP: The problem that the Zionist society suffers from is that Zionism is based on a chauvinist and racist interpretation of jewish religion. So the move towards fascism in the Zionist entity was not the result of a specific moment, but rather is justified by accumulations through a teaching of the Torah in that specific way that the Jews are a people, that God chose and gave the land to them. The Zionist society was imbued with these chauvinist and fascist ideas, and all other contradictions were obscured by creating the imaginary enemy of the Zionist society. Also, in the Zionist society there is a conflict between the Eastern Haredi Jews and the Western Ashkenazi Jews, and the core of this conflict is about the issue of pure Jewish identity and distance from Western culture, which was dominant in Zionist society. All of that does not prevent the Palestinian communists from working on class unity between the Palestinians and the Israelis, but that requires a great deal of time and effort and requires a strong Israeli and a strong Palestinian communist party, and that is not the case under this particular circumstance.

KO: Most communist parties in the world have been calling for the formation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital for many decades, so that Palestine and Israel would coexist as two states. The Palestinian Communist Party rejects this position as outdated and instead strives for a unified state of Palestine, the so-called one-state solution. Can you explain this position and your criticism of the two-state solution?

PCP: Firstly, it must be made clear that before the partition decision, the National Liberation League was proposed, which is the expression of the opinion of the Palestinian communists about a single state uniting the Palestinian and Israeli peoples, but this did not agree with American and British imperialism, which saw the unity of the two peoples as a threat to its existence in the region and saw that the East region should remain. The Middle East suffers from political instability because of this entity that is aggressive against peoples and their wealth through unparalleled support from Western countries. After the partition decision, the Palestinian communists saw that there are conspiracies being hatched against our Palestinian people with the participation of the Arab reactionaries, and their goal is to control the land. They saw that the rugs must be withdrawn. They challenged these reactionary forces, but that brought hostility to the communists on the part of the reactionary Arab regimes, and the situation ended with the entity controlling 78% of the Palestinian land and the Jordanian regime controlling 22% of the rest of the land and the Gaza Strip was subordinated to Egypt. This is what the communists were warning about, and from this standpoint the Communist Party agreed with the partition plan as a step forward. The Palestinians supported the partition decision, but after the Zionist occupation of the West Bank and the changing balance of power in favor of imperialism in the world, the party changed its position based on the following analysis:

The communists in Palestine were aware of the nature of the replacement occupation and proposed a solution to the Palestinian issue with a single democratic state for all its people. The Zionist movement that occupied Palestine was an expression of Zionist capital allied with global imperialism, and the result of this capitalist alliance was the establishment of a political entity for Zionism at the expense of the Palestinian people in Palestine, which plays the role of policeman in the Middle East region to protect the interests of imperialist capital and perpetuate imperialism’s plunder of the peoples of the region. This usurping entity, using the army and military force, is still following the policy of forced displacement of our Palestinian people and ethnic cleansing through massacres that have been continuing for more than a century. The Zionist movement has not and will not have a beacon of hope in its existential survival strategy for any element other than the Zionist Jews in Palestine. The battle with this movement is a battle for land and existence, and the peaceful solutions it claims are nothing more than deception and buying time to implement its policy of control over the land and complete the expulsion of the remaining Palestinian people from their homeland. The Zionist movement, which exploited religious sentiment and Jewish history in Europe, followed all methods and deception to bring the largest number of Jews in the world to Palestine at the expense of the Palestinian people, these Jews who have no historical connection to Palestine. The Zionist movement relied on Balfour’s false statement, which is that Palestine is a land without a people for a people without a land, and most of the Jews brought to Palestine were brought only to be fuel, firewood, and pawns in the hands of the Zionist movement and its functional role in the region, and to be slaves in the service of Zionist imperialist capital. The Zionist movement has turned into a monster with the sharp fangs of global capital in implementing its colonial policy in the region. It does not give importance to the human being, regardless of his belief. Its first understanding is to force this human being to be a servant in the hands of the imperialist monster.

Here is an explanation of some points about the two-state solution.

• The economic dependence of this alleged state. One of the conditions for this solution is dependence on Israel and the available foreign grants that are directly conditional on peace with Israel, thus undermining any kind of economic sovereignty of the Palestinian state.
• Our party also believes that it is impossible to accept a state whose borders which were drawn by wars and in which imperialism devoted its military power to building a base in the region.
• This solution depends not only on economic dependency on the occupation, but also on military exposure and the inability of the Palestinian state to maintain its borders in the face of any aggression on its lands, especially considering the rise of the extreme right in Israel.
• Accepting the solution means completely abandoning the right of return for the Palestinian refugees who were displaced from their lands during previous attacks on the Palestinians.
• This solution consolidates the idea of the apartheid system and gives only 20 percent of the land to half of the population currently located within the borders of historic Palestine, in addition to the Palestinian refugees, whose number has exceeded 8 million refugees. It is the only guarantee for the survival of the apartheid system, and the independence of the Palestinian state will not be more than a sketch. paper.

Because the communists realize that the focus of the conflict on the land of Palestine is an existential conflict, they are not dreamers in their call to establish a democratic state in Palestine for all its people. Rather, they realize that they are waging a war of liberation for the land of Palestine, declaring that Jews are not an enemy of the Palestinian people because they are Jews, and that the liberation of Palestine is practically the liberation of the Jews. From the grip and control of the Zionist movement and its malicious goals, just as the communists in Palestine realize that achieving the State of Palestine for all its people cannot and will not be achieved through peaceful calls, because Zionism, which has turned in its policy against the Palestinian people into a new fascism to achieve its goals of emptying Palestine of its original children, in light of what was called an operation of the peace of “Oslo”. The theft of land for the benefit of the usurpers doubled and the expansion and construction of the usurped areas increased, and the number of illegal settlers of the land increased by approximately 8,000 in the West Bank. All the measures of the Zionist movement in what was called the peace process is to create a Palestinian party that acts as a guardian of Zionist security and policy in Palestine, where the occupation has become. The least expensive in the world. From this understanding, the communists see that the two-state solution has become out of time and space, and that a single secular democratic state is the ideal solution, and it cannot be achieved through wishes. The Zionist movement, the fascism of the new age, is escalating its oppression of the Palestinian people and will prevent this goal from being achieved because it realizes that the Jews, when they are liberated from Zionism, will not remain prisoners of global imperialist policy.

Achieving this goal requires the communists in occupied Palestine to follow all forms of struggle, first and foremost revolutionary violence as means of confronting the Zionist movement, which has not and will not hesitate to use terrorist violence in order to resist achieving the goal of a single secular democratic state. Therefore, the communists devoted all their lives to humanity, its dignity, and freedom. Their revolutionary violence is against an oppressive minority in favor of an oppressed majority whose rights are being forfeited. It is forced violence in favor of human beings, regardless of their belief. Revolutionary violence and all methods of struggle, while being a tool for restoring the Palestinian right to his land and returning him to his homeland, are at the same time the liberation of the Jew who is being exploited by the movement. Zionism as a slave in the service of global imperialism and the capital allied with it.

KO: Now concerning the question how a solution to the Palestinian issue can be achieved: What are the major weaknesses of the Israeli state right now and in the future and how do they affect the war effort? How do you think Zionism could be defeated, thus opening the path towards a just peace and national liberation of the Palestinian people?

PCP: The most important weakness of the Zionist state is its total dependence for existence on American and European imperialism. The entity state cannot live for a single year without this unlimited support. Another weakness is the lack of homogeneity in the Zionist society, even though the entity has been in existence for more than 75 years. The most intense conflict is between religious factions of the Haredi and the Ashkenazi, and the conflict between them was clear through changing the judicial system in favor of the Haredi due to their increased power and influence in society. Also, the Zionist society is made up of different nationalities, such as the Russians, who arrived since the beginning of the 1990s. They have become a major force in the country and parliament to the point that the language was adopted: Russian is the third official language after Hebrew and Arabic, in addition to the Ethiopian Falasha Jews, whom the Zionists treat because of their color as fourth-class citizens. Another weakness is that the entity cannot bear any major military loss because it will directly or later lead to its collapse, as David Ben-Gurion, the founder of the Zionist state, himself, said. If the entity suffers any defeat, it will disappear from here. We see these Zionist massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist project can be defeated through the approach of resistance in all its forms by our people, and the revolutionary forces must work to support a boycott of the entity and form a situation in order to cut off support for it until it collapses once and for all, just as the apartheid regime collapsed in South Africa.

KO: A split runs through the international communist movement, which has deepened in the last two years with the escalation of the war in Ukraine. This division mainly concerns the analysis of imperialism, the role of Russia and China in it and is expressed in opposing assessments of the war in Ukraine. What position does the Palestinian Communist Party take on these issues?

PCP: The international communist movement was divided before the war on Ukraine. It was divided between two currents, a reformist and revisionist current, and a revolutionary current. The conflict between these two trends was prominent in the periodic meetings and meetings of the international communist movement. This dispute escalated and intensified after the Russian-Atlantic war in Ukraine, and the Palestinian Communist Party believes things are as follows: The main reason for what is happening in the world as a whole and not in Ukraine is because of the coup against socialism in the Soviet Union and the control of reactionary and bourgeois forces over Russia, Ukraine and the rest of the former Warsaw Pact countries, and that the conflict raged in Ukraine because of the Russian bourgeoisie’s request to have a place under the sun, especially after Russia returned strongly to the world arena and demanded the re-divide the world with American imperialism, which did not give up its control and share in the markets. This led to the current conflict in Ukraine, which expresses the interests of the rising Russian bourgeoisie and its struggle with American imperialism. It is true that there are the Donbass people in Ukraine. Our party was in favor of the right of independence for this people, whose responsibility was to resist Nazism, as it was for the communists there. But since the Russian intervention in Ukraine, many of the Donbass communist leaders have been killed in a mysterious and suspicious manner. This indicates the hostility of the Russian authority to communism and its symbols, and that the use of some slogans of the Great Patriotic War is to throw dust in the eyes and mislead the working class in Russia. Therefore, the Palestinian Communist Party sees what is happening as a struggle between bourgeoisie whose goal is to control wealth and share areas of influence, and that the Russian Federation is not considered an antithesis to NATO, but rather a competitor to it. Therefore, we in the world need a socialist pole, not a capitalist one. As in the case of China, there can be no compromise between capitalism and socialism. It is not possible to combine them, and everything that is said about the socialist market is complete nonsense and cannot be relied upon. Therefore, China is not viewed as a global pole in opposition to NATO either, but rather as a strong competitor to it.

KO: In our opinion, it is legitimate that the Palestinian resistance also seeks support from capitalist powers who are obviously doing so in the name of their own interests, taking advantage of the contrasts and competition between various powers. However, this does not mean, of course, that communists should wish for or even work for greater competition among the imperialist powers, as theorized by the proponents of the “multipolar world,” which ultimately means only a world of devastating wars. What is your position on this issue?

PCP: The multipolar world is pure nonsense. For example, ancient colonialism was a conflict between France and Britain. Is this considered a multipolar world? We cannot consider the world controlled by the capitalist system to be a multipolar world, and the ongoing conflict is over markets, wealth, and influence. As Marx said, the most important expression of crisis of the capitalist system is war, and this is what we are seeing and witnessing currently, but it is possible for the communists to exploit the ongoing conflict between these forces in order to strike the capitalist system at its weakest links and build the socialist system, as the comrade and teacher Lenin did in Tsarist Russia during the First World War.

KO: We think that the international communist movement should work towards a unified revolutionary strategy against imperialism, that cooperation and exchange between communist parties should be strengthened, discussion of ideological differences must take place and ultimately, steps in the direction of a new Communist International should be taken. What is your position on this issue?

PCP: We completely agree with this proposal. Our party, the Palestinian Communist Party, presented a proposal to form a new International in 2008, then the proposal was repeated in 2012, but unfortunately most parties do not share this opinion, and they saw that the international communist movement should not be divided, but we see that we are heading towards a split in the international communist movement considering the different positions on the war in Ukraine – as happened in 1912 before World War I, in Lenin’s formation of the Third International, and in the end of the opportunist parties of the Second International to the dustbins of history.

KO: The German imperialist state is among the foremost supporters of the Israeli genocide, it violently represses any form of dissent against it and has ruthlessly escalated anti-Palestinian racism and violence during the last months. Even some so-called “leftists” refrain from supporting the Palestinian struggle, with some allegedly “left-wing” forces even adopting far-right positions in support of Israel. All of this is justified with the pretext of combating antisemitism. What do you as Palestinian communists reply to that? In your opinion, what should communists in Germany, what should progressive or peace-loving people in our country do to express solidarity with the Palestinian people?

PCP: Comrades, what always reveals opportunists and revisionists is their positions in major events, as happened with the parties of the Second International during the First World War, and the social democratic parties that allied with the right and Nazis in order to strike the communist movement. The war in Gaza exposed and disgraced the entire Western world and exposed the falsehood of the slogans which he raises, such as freedom, rights, etc. We, as communists, see that the goal of demonizing the Palestinians is to justify the crimes committed against them, such as describing them as human animals. Also, German imperialism’s support for the Zionist entity demonstrates the extent of the organic connection between global imperialism and the entity state, and that this entity expresses the interests of imperialism. In the region, what is required of the real communist forces is to clearly raise the slogan of stopping the aggression and supporting the right of the Palestinian people to resist and establish their free and independent state without ambiguity or fear, because the parties that are cowardly in this circumstance are unable to make fateful decisions in the future for the sake of the interest of their people, and this contradicts with the spirit of Marxism and communism, the left-wing revisionists must be fought, exposing their falsehood and betrayal of Marxist thought, and the right must also be confronted with the same ferocity. This is what we learned from Lenin, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht.
